Groundwork ("Groundwork," "we," "us") is a product owned and operated by Lovable Gazelle LLC. This policy explains what we collect when you use Groundwork and how we handle it.

1. What we collect

The website address (domain) you enter, so we can run the scan you requested.
Public information about that domain: DNS records, registrar/RDAP data, hosting and HTTP signals, and publicly accessible page content. This is public third-party data, not personal data about you.
Basic technical logs (e.g., IP address, request times) used to prevent abuse and rate-limit the scanner.

2. How we use it

To generate the public foundation snapshot you requested.
To prevent abuse, secure the service, and improve the product.
To respond to support requests.

3. How long we keep it

Scan data is cached only briefly to generate the snapshot you requested, then deleted. We retain only the minimal operational data needed to secure the service and provide support.

4. Who we share it with

We do not sell your data. We share data only with service providers that run Groundwork, including our hosting/infrastructure provider and analytics tooling, and only as needed to operate the service or comply with the law.

5. Public information about domains

Groundwork reports on publicly available information about domains and websites, similar to a WHOIS or DNS lookup. We are not affiliated with the domains we report on. If you own a domain and have a concern about a report, contact us at hey@lovablegazelle.com.

6. Your choices

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal data we hold about you by emailing hey@lovablegazelle.com. You can opt out of non-essential email at any time.

7. Security & children

We take reasonable measures to protect your information. Groundwork is not intended for anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
